With this feature, you can choose which number appears to your contacts whenever you place calls through JotPhone.

⚙️ What Does the Outbound Caller ID Setting Do?

The Outbound Caller ID determines the phone number displayed to recipients when making outbound calls from JotPhone.

You can:

Use your JotPhone number as the default caller ID
Add and verify external phone numbers such as your mobile or business line
Assign different outbound caller IDs for different Jotphone numbers

Your JotPhone number is automatically used as the outbound caller ID for all outgoing calls.	You can add and verify another number such as your mobile number or external business line.
Customers will see your JotPhone number when receiving calls from the Web, Desktop, or Mobile app.	Once verified, the new number can be selected from the Outbound Caller ID dropdown menu.
Best for users who want to consistently display their JotPhone number.	Ideal for users who want different caller IDs for different teams or communication purposes.

🛠️ How to Add and Verify a New Caller ID

Step 1: Open the Phone Numbers Section

From your JotPhone dashboard, click on Phone Numbers from the left-hand navigation menu.

Step 2: Open Number Settings

On the Phone Numbers page, click the Settings icon next to the number you want to configure.

Step 3: Locate Outbound Caller ID Settings

Under the Call Settings tab, find Outbound Caller ID.

Step 4: Add a New Caller ID

From the Outbound Caller ID dropdown menu, select Add New Caller ID.

You can:

Choose an already verified number from the list
Add a completely new number for verification

All verified numbers will appear in the dropdown menu.

Step 5: Enter Phone Number Details

In the Add Caller ID dialog box:

Select the appropriate country code
Enter the mobile or external phone number
Optionally add an extension if required

Click OK to proceed.

Finally, click Save in the bottom-right corner to apply the changes.
