🔄 How Round Robin Call Routing Works in JotPhone
Round Robin call routing distributes incoming calls evenly among available team members.
For example, if you have three agents — A, B, and C:
- The first call goes to Agent A
- The second call goes to Agent B
- The third call goes to Agent C
The cycle then repeats:
- Fourth call → Agent A
- Fifth call → Agent B
- And so on.
If an agent is unavailable or already on another call, JotPhone automatically skips them and routes the call to the next available agent.
⚙️ How to Set Up Round Robin Routing
Step 1
Go to the Phone Numbers section from the sidebar and select the phone number you want to configure.
Step 2
Under Incoming Calls, use the Forward Incoming Calls To dropdown and select Team Members.
Step 3
From the Select Ringing Order dropdown, choose Round Robin.
Then:
- Add the users who should receive incoming calls
- Click Save to apply the changes
📌 Note
This feature is also available for Multi-Level IVRs and can be configured in a similar way.
