🔔 Customize Incoming Call Ringtone Type in JotPhone

JotPhone allows you to customize the ringtone your callers hear when they dial your phone number. Since each country has its own unique ringing pattern, JotPhone automatically applies a default ringtone based on the country of your purchased phone number.

You can modify this ringtone anytime from the Web App or Android App to better match your regional preference or business requirements.

⚙️ What Does This Setting Do?

The Incoming Call Ringtone Type setting determines the ringtone pattern callers hear when placing a call to your JotPhone number.

Key highlights:

• Each country has its own distinctive ringtone style
• JotPhone automatically assigns a ringtone based on the phone number’s country
• You can manually switch to a different regional ringtone if preferred

📱 Android App Behavior

If you use the JotPhone Android App, the ringtone configured within the Android app will override the ringtone settings configured in the Web App for that number.

This allows mobile users to personalize their incoming call experience directly from their device settings.

🛠️ How to Configure Incoming Call Ringtone Type

This guide applies to the redesigned JustCall Phone Numbers Settings interface. Some settings may differ from the previous layout.

Step 1: Open the Phone Numbers Section

From your JotPhone dashboard, click on Phone Numbers from the left-hand navigation menu.

Step 2: Open Number Settings

On the Phone Numbers page, click the Settings icon next to the phone number you want to configure.

Step 3: Locate Call Preferences

Under the Call Settings tab, find the Incoming Call Ringtone Type option.

Step 4: Choose a Ringtone Region

Select your preferred regional ringtone type from the dropdown menu.

You can choose a ringtone pattern based on different countries or regions.

Step 5: Save the Changes

Click the Save button in the top-right corner to apply your updated ringtone settings.
