JotPhone allows you to customize how long your phone number rings before a call is answered, redirected, or sent to voicemail. The “Ring Incoming Calls For” setting helps you manage your call flow more efficiently and ensures incoming calls are handled according to your business needs.

⚙️ What Does This Setting Do?

The Ring Incoming Calls For option lets you define the duration (in seconds) that an incoming call will continue ringing before the system performs the next action.

Depending on your call routing configuration, the call can then be:

• Answered by an available agent
• Redirected to another number or routing rule
• Sent to voicemail
• Forwarded to a callback destination

This setting helps reduce missed calls and improves overall customer experience.

🛠️ How to Adjust the Ring Duration

This guide applies to the redesigned JustCall Phone Numbers Settings interface. Some settings may appear differently in the older layout.

Step 1: Open the Phone Numbers Section

From your JotPhone dashboard, click on Phone Numbers from the left-hand navigation menu.

Step 2: Open Number Settings

On the Phone Numbers page, click the Settings icon next to the phone number you want to configure.

Step 3: Locate Call Preferences

Under the Call Settings tab, find the Ring Incoming Calls For option.

Step 4: Select Ring Duration

Choose your preferred ring duration from the dropdown menu.

Available options may include:

• 10 seconds
• 30 seconds
• 40 seconds
• 50 seconds

Step 5: Save the Changes

Click the Save button in the top-right corner to apply the updated settings.
