🧪 Understanding Beta Phone Numbers in JotPhone

At JotPhone, we aim to deliver high-quality phone numbers across every region we support. To ensure reliability and performance, new phone numbers are introduced gradually through a carefully monitored rollout process.

🚀 How New Phone Numbers Are Released

Before making new numbers publicly available, we follow a multi-stage launch process:

1. Internal Testing
   Extensive testing is conducted internally to validate quality and performance.
2. Developer Preview Phase
   Numbers are then released in a limited preview phase to monitor real-world usage and identify any potential issues.
3. Public Beta Release
   Once initial testing is successful, the numbers become available to all JotPhone customers as beta numbers.

🌍 Why Beta Numbers Exist

The global telephony ecosystem is complex, and certain issues may only appear under high traffic volumes or with specific local carriers.

To maintain transparency:

• Newly launched numbers are marked as “Beta”
• These numbers are closely monitored by our team
• Any carrier or connectivity issues are addressed as quickly as possible

✅ When Does a Number Leave Beta?

After receiving sufficient traffic and successfully meeting our quality standards, the Beta label is removed.

Typically, this happens around three months after the number is added to the beta inventory.

No technical changes are made to the number at this stage—it simply indicates that the number has passed our final quality checks.

⚠️ Important Note

Beta phone numbers are still under active monitoring and should not be considered production-ready for life-threatening or emergency situations.
