📞 How to Set Up IVR (Call Menu) in JotPhone
With JotPhone's IVR (Interactive Voice Response), you can create an automated call menu that allows callers to choose options using their keypad. This helps route calls to the right team or department efficiently.
⚙️ Steps to Set Up IVR
- Log in to your JotPhone account
- From the sidebar, click on Phone Numbers
- Select the phone number you want to configure and click the Settings options from the three-dot menu.
- Go to Incoming Calls
- Select IVR (Call Menu)
🔧 Enable and Configure IVR
- Toggle the IVR option to enable it
- Create a digit-based menu by assigning actions to keypad numbers (e.g., Press 1, Press 2)
🛠️ Customize IVR Options
- Add actions for each digit (e.g., forward calls to a team or number)
- Enter the text message for each option—this will be converted into an audio prompt for callers
- Example: If you enter “Forward calls to Sales” for Digit 1, the caller will hear something like:
“Press 1 to connect with Sales.”
- Example: If you enter “Forward calls to Sales” for Digit 1, the caller will hear something like:
- Click “Add Option” to include more menu choices
🔁 Additional Settings
- Set up multi-level IVR for more advanced call routing
- Configure actions for unanswered calls (e.g., forward to voicemail, another number, or dismiss the call)

Once you’ve set up your IVR menu, click Save Changes to apply the settings.
