🎵 Set Up Custom Hold Music or Messages in JotPhone

With JotPhone, you can easily set up custom hold music or messages that automatically play whenever a caller is placed on hold.

⚙️ How to Set Up a Custom Hold Message

Step 1

Go to the Phone Numbers section in your JotPhone account and select the phone number you want to configure.

Step 2

Under the phone number settings menu, select Greetings.

This will take you to the Greetings section.

Step 3

Locate Hold Message and click Add New Message.

You can then choose one of the following options:

• Enter a text message for text-to-speech conversion
• Upload an audio file
• Record a voice message directly

Once done, click Save.

✅ What Happens Next?

Your custom hold music or message will go live immediately.

You can test it by calling the JotPhone number from another phone number and placing the call on hold.

🎙️ Additional Custom Greetings

Similarly, you can also set up:

• Welcome Message — Played when someone calls your number
• Voicemail Message — Played when no team members are available to answer the call
