🛡️ JotPhone Compliance Center: Overview & Setup Guide

Jotphone's Compliance Center helps you stay compliant with country-specific calling and messaging regulations. It enables you to register and verify your business with telecom carriers, reducing the risk of your calls or messages being marked as spam.

The Compliance Center supports registrations for:

• Business Profile Registration
• SMS Compliance A2P 10DLC
• Caller ID Name (CNAM)
• Toll-free number Registration
• Phone Number Reputation

The process begins with submitting your Business Profile.

⚙️ Step 1: Submit Your Business Profile

Provide accurate business details to complete your registration. This includes:

• General information
• Business information
• Point of contact information

How to Submit Your Business Profile

1. Log in to your JotPhone account
2. Go to Settings → Compliance Center

      In the Business Profile registration, click “Register Now”

           Fill out the business registration form with the required details Business Name, Country, Address and Zipcode.

📩 Step 2: Submit Additional Registrations

While your business profile is under review, you can apply for:

• A2P 10DLC – Required for sending SMS within the US

          Kindly find the details about Business Usecase, Phone Numbers and also Sample Message.

• CNAM – Displays your business name as caller ID

           You need to fill up your Phone number and Display Name.

• Toll-free number registration - Add the details like Phone Number, Use case, Monthly Volume, and etc.

•    Phone Number Registration - Add the details like UseCase, Phone Number and Description.

✅ Step 3: Approval & Automatic Submission

• Once your business profile is approved, your US phone numbers will be automatically submitted for STIR/SHAKEN
• No additional action is required for this step
• Approval or rejection of other registrations depends on the information provided

⏱️ Processing Timelines

Registration reviews are handled by upstream providers and may take a few business days:

• A2P 10DLC: Up to 2–3 weeks
• Toll-free registration: Up to 1 week
• CNAM: 2–3 days
• STIR/SHAKEN: 3–4 days

You can track the status of your applications anytime in the Compliance Center. Notifications will also be sent regarding approvals or rejections.

⚠️ Important Notes

• STIR/SHAKEN registration is mandatory for all US phone numbers
• A2P 10DLC is required for sending SMS using US local numbers
• Toll-free verification is mandatory for messaging in the US and Canada
