Contacts
The Contacts section provides a centralised list of all active contacts. It allows users to search, filter, add, edit, and delete contacts from one place.
1. Search
The Search icon allows users to quickly find a specific contact instead of manually going through the contact list.
You can use it to locate contacts by available contact information such as their name, email, or phone number.
2. Filters
The Contacts page provides several filtering options:
- Name – Filter contacts based on their name.
- Email – Find contacts using their email address.
- Mobile Number – Filter contacts by phone number.
- Company – Find contacts associated with a specific company.
- Date Range – Filter contacts based on when they were created.
These filters help users quickly narrow down the contact list.
3. Reset Filter
Reset filter clears all currently selected filters and returns the contact list to its default view.
For example, if you filter by a company and date range, clicking Reset filter removes those conditions.
4. Action Menu
Clicking the three-dot menu for a contact provides two options:
Edit Contact
Edit Contact allows users to update the selected contact's information.
For example, users can correct or change:
- Contact name
- Email address
- Mobile number
- Company information
- Other available contact details
This is useful when a customer's information changes or was entered incorrectly.
Delete
Delete removes the selected contact from the Contacts list.
This should be used when a contact is no longer required or was added incorrectly. Since deletion can remove the contact from the active contact list, users should confirm the action before proceeding if a confirmation prompt is shown.
